AI Infrastructure Engineer - Emerging Technologies

Help Cologix evaluate and design next-generation AI-ready data center infrastructure. This role connects emerging compute platforms with practical development, engineering, construction, operations, and energy strategies for future high-density facilities. The engineer assesses GPU and accelerator roadmaps, rack-level power demand, optical networking, power quality, liquid cooling, microgrids, utility constraints, and new construction standards. The work includes technical modeling, vendor evaluations, pilot projects, infrastructure roadmaps, and executive recommendations across engineering and operations teams.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, computer, data center engineering, computer science, or a related discipline • Five or more years of experience in data center infrastructure, AI or HPC infrastructure, power systems, cooling technologies, or advanced infrastructure engineering • Strong understanding of emerging AI compute technologies and their infrastructure implications • Ability to translate complex technical analysis into actionable engineering and infrastructure strategies • Experience with hyperscale or colocation environments, GPU infrastructure, utility coordination, high-density cooling, or large infrastructure projects is preferred • Master's degree, PhD, PE license, or equivalent advanced credentials are preferred • Must already be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; Cologix states that sponsorship is not available for this role
