Critical Facilities Engineer

Operate, maintain, and improve the electrical, mechanical, and cooling infrastructure that supports Equinix’s Dallas data center. The engineer performs preventive and corrective maintenance, monitors critical systems, responds to incidents, manages work orders and vendors, and helps reduce operational risk. The environment operates continuously and may require shift work, on-call coverage, weekends, holidays, and emergency response.

• Experience in facilities, industrial operations, manufacturing, military technical work, building engineering, or data centers • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, controls, or building systems • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience following safety procedures • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in equipment spaces • Data center experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, BMS, or EPMS is preferred • Trade-school, apprenticeship, military, or engineering training is valued
