Critical Facilities Engineer III

Serve as an advanced technical resource for Flexential's critical facilities operations in Hillsboro.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical, and HVAC infrastructure supporting a 99.999% uptime target.
• Manage vendors, maintenance schedules, documentation, and safe change windows.
• Lead recovery exercises, support commissioning across markets, and develop MOPs and SOPs.
• Train regional teams, review equipment performance, and improve operational efficiency.

Work arrangement

Onsite with facility on-call responsibilities and maintenance outside normal hours or on weekends when required.

Compensation and benefits

Base pay: $52 to $54 hourly, depending on qualifications and location. Benefits include health coverage, retirement savings, paid leave, disability insurance, and wellness support.

• Five years of data center experience and at least five years in critical infrastructure and technical troubleshooting.
• Building automation and applicable trade experience.
• Knowledge of generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS, ATS, PDUs, chillers, pumps, and air handling systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans and prepare operating procedures.
• Preferred: electrical or mechanical certifications, a relevant associate degree, and eight years operating data center equipment.
• Legal US work authorization.
