Critical Infrastructure Engineer I

Help maintain the electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and building-automation systems supporting Flexential’s Tampa West data center. This entry-level critical-infrastructure role performs facility rounds, monitors equipment, supports preventive and corrective maintenance, provisions customer power, assists with commissioning, and follows MOP and SOP procedures to protect mission-critical uptime. The engineer also supports change windows, disaster-recovery exercises, maintenance reporting, and hands-on coordination with the data center technician team.

• At least one year of data center experience and one year in a critical-infrastructure environment • Experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and building automation • Basic understanding of generators, switchgear, UPS and ATS systems, PDUs, chillers, pumps, air handlers, and CRAH units • Ability to read blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans, MOPs, and SOPs • Ability to lift 50 pounds and participate in 24/7 on-call coverage • Relevant military, trade, electrical, mechanical, or engineering experience
