Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer

Maintain and support the critical infrastructure serving Equinix’s Kent data center. The engineer completes preventive and corrective maintenance, monitors the building-management system, responds to alarms and incidents, operates plumbing and fire-suppression systems, supports vendors, maintains site documentation, and helps identify single points of failure. This on-site operations role handles moderately complex work with limited day-to-day instruction and collaborates with other facilities staff on repairs and infrastructure projects.

• High school diploma and relevant equivalent work experience • Experience performing facility maintenance, inspections, repairs, or installations • Ability to monitor BMS alarms and follow established operating procedures • Experience supporting vendors, maintenance approvals, and technical documentation • Ability to respond calmly to on-site incidents and collaborate across operations teams • Data center or other mission-critical facilities experience is preferred
