Data Center Deployment Technician I

Start a data center deployment career by labeling fiber-optic and copper cabling and completing basic quality checks at a Madison, North Carolina project. Under direct supervision, the technician verifies cable IDs and rack locations, checks labeling consistency and cable condition, records discrepancies, and follows site safety requirements. This is an entry-level, project-based W-2 position with a weekday daytime schedule and on-the-job training.

• High school diploma or equivalent • 0–1 year of data center, cabling, or technical experience; prior experience is helpful but not required • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow labeling standards • Comfort working around raised floors, racks, and equipment aisles • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods • Fiber/copper exposure, OSHA 10, military, trade-school, or technical training is preferred
