Data Center Deployment Technician II

Deliver structured-cabling deployment work in a Houston data center, with ownership of fiber and copper labeling, routing, dressing, porting, and installation quality checks. The technician follows drawings and client standards, documents discrepancies, and helps keep project work accurate and on schedule. This is a project-based W-2 position that may also provide day-to-day guidance to Level I technicians.

• High school diploma or equivalent • 2–3 years of hands-on data center experience • Demonstrated fiber-optic and copper structured-cabling experience • Ability to read drawings, scope documents, port maps, and labeling standards • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around racks, raised floors, and equipment aisles • OSHA 10 and experience mentoring junior technicians are preferred
