Data Center Deployment Technician II

Deploy structured cabling and related infrastructure inside Salt Lake City data centers. This project-based W-2 role installs, labels, bundles, dresses, and ports fiber and copper cabling while supporting rack-level deployment work and maintaining accurate site documentation. The technician also performs quality checks, follows site safety rules, communicates progress and issues, and helps keep fast-moving deployment projects on schedule.

• Two to three years of hands-on data center deployment or structured-cabling experience • Experience installing, labeling, dressing, testing, and porting fiber and copper cabling • Ability to read deployment plans and maintain accurate work records • Strong quality-control, safety, and team-communication habits • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in active data center environments • OSHA 10 certification is preferred
