Data Center Facilities Engineer II

Help operate and maintain Element Critical's mission-critical data center in Katy, Texas. This facilities engineering role supports the electrical, mechanical, building automation, fire protection, and life-safety systems that keep the site available around the clock. The engineer performs rounds and inspections, responds to alarms and incidents, coordinates maintenance, follows operating procedures, documents facility activity, and works with vendors and other site personnel to protect uptime and customer service.

• Three or more years of relevant critical-infrastructure or data center facilities experience • Working knowledge of generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, AHUs, CRAC units, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, and building automation systems • Technical, military, trade-school, or engineering education; relevant licenses and certifications are preferred • Ability to participate in on-call coverage and respond to critical facility events • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds independently and perform team lifts of 50 pounds or more • Strong safety, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication practices
