Data Center Logistics Technician

Keep equipment moving accurately and safely through Equinix's Sunnyvale data center.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, log, and dispatch customer shipments; obtain delivery confirmation.
• Coordinate large deliveries and resolve shipping or receiving issues with customers and internal teams.
• Track stored equipment and aging shipments using established systems.
• Move equipment to and from customer cages and assist with packing under Smart Hands requests.
• Follow site procedures for hazardous materials and inventory handling.

Work arrangement

Full-time and onsite in Sunnyvale, California.

Compensation and benefits

Annual base pay: $44,600 to $67,000. Bonus eligibility applies; equity may be offered. Benefits include health, life and disability coverage, retirement contributions, paid leave, holidays, and employee assistance.

• Typically a high school diploma and one to two years of equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow receiving, shipping, inventory, and hazardous material procedures.
• Accurate recordkeeping and effective communication with delivery recipients and customers.
• Judgment to identify delivery problems and seek guidance on unfamiliar assignments.
• Regional hazardous materials certification is preferred.
