Job Description
Fluidstack is hiring a network technician lead for data center operations in Buffalo, New York.
The role is the onsite Tier 3 escalation point for physical-layer network and structured cabling incidents across AI infrastructure, partnering with Network Operations while owning fiber troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair validation, and incident documentation.
Requirements
- Experience as an onsite network or cable-plant specialist in a data center environment.
- Deep structured cabling and fiber skills, including testing, termination, and fault isolation.
- Network fundamentals across TCP/IP, switching, optics, and device diagnostics.
- Ability to operate as the sole onsite escalation resource and document handoffs clearly.
- Bonus: high-density AI or hyperscale fabrics, fiber certification, BICSI, Fluke, or similar tooling experience.
