Data Center Operations Tier 1 Technician (Night Shift)

Join LightEdge's San Diego data center operations team on the night shift. This Tier 1 role monitors and supports building and technical systems while helping customers and internal teams maintain a secure, reliable colocation environment. Responsibilities include monitoring power, HVAC, biometric security, and fire-suppression systems; installing servers, network equipment, and cabling; documenting work; responding to alerts; and assisting with routine troubleshooting and facility tasks.

• Associate degree, technical training, or equivalent practical experience • One to four years of relevant data center, IT infrastructure, network, or facilities experience • Familiarity with structured cabling, basic electricity, cooling, and airflow concepts • Ability to install and handle servers, networking equipment, and cabling safely • Strong documentation, customer-service, and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work onsite in San Diego on the night shift
