Data Center Operations Tier 1 Technician (Night Shift)

LightEdge is hiring a night-shift technician to monitor and manage building systems and physical infrastructure at its Omaha-area data center.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot data center equipment with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Install servers, network equipment, racks, cages, and associated cabling.
• Respond to infrastructure alarms and follow change-control processes and MOPs.
• Support preventive maintenance and an on-call rotation for non-business hours.

What you bring

• Two-year technical degree or one to four years of equivalent technical or military experience.
• Ethernet, Category 6, and fiber termination experience.
• Experience with routine data center maintenance and familiarity with power and cooling systems.
• Strong documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and computer skills.
