Data Center Operations Tier 2 Technician

The Tier 2 technician manages and maintains data centers and other critical facilities for LightEdge in Ashburn.

What you will do

• Perform and document maintenance, installation, hardware-reclaim, and cabling work.
• Support building monitoring systems, cooling, airflow management, and physical infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, network media, and facility issues.
• Create and follow operating procedures in a fast-paced critical environment.

What you bring

• Two-year technical degree or four to eight years of equivalent technical or military experience.
• Ethernet, Category 6, single-mode fiber, and multimode fiber termination experience.
• Data center maintenance, operating-system, hardware, networking, cooling, and airflow knowledge.
• Experience with building and computerized management systems.
