Data Center Operator Technician

Support daily on-site data center operations in Brooklyn, including rack-and-stack work, copper and fiber patching, hardware installation, break-fix activity, inventory control, environmental checks, and accurate infrastructure documentation. This customer-facing role works with the Data Center Operations Manager and other technical teams to complete moves, additions, changes, decommissions, and installation quality checks while following site security and safety procedures.

• 1–3 years of data center operations, technician, or hardware-support experience • Hands-on experience installing server and network equipment and patching copper and fiber • Working knowledge of Cat6/Cat6A, OM3/OM4, and single-mode fiber infrastructure • Familiarity with patch schedules, project documentation, and IMAC workflows • Ability to work 10-hour shifts; night or overnight availability is preferred
