Data Center Project Associate

Align is hiring an entry-level project associate to support large-scale data center white-space fit-out projects in the Detroit area, primarily on-site in Saline. The role offers hands-on exposure to HVAC, power distribution, structured low-voltage cabling, space planning, and the full project lifecycle.

What you will do

• Support on-site construction, installation, and build-out activities.
• Coordinate trades, vendors, documentation, schedules, and project deliverables.
• Assist with electrical distribution, low-voltage cabling, cabinet layouts, and containment designs.
• Create floor plans, network diagrams, bills of materials, and project records.
• Help troubleshoot field issues under the mentorship of senior consultants and project managers.

• Strong interest in infrastructure and data center technologies.
• Critical thinking, data-analysis, writing, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Consistent on-site presence in Saline, Michigan.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend site activity.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 50 percent based on project needs.
