Data Center Security Operations Technician

Provide onsite physical-security operations and technical support across CyrusOne critical data center environments. The technician troubleshoots, repairs, replaces, and performs preventive maintenance on access readers, cameras, door hardware, low-voltage cabling, and related field devices. The role also supports incident response and operational recovery, maintains tickets and service records, coordinates with site teams and vendors, tracks replacement parts, and escalates issues that could affect system uptime or site readiness.

• Two to four years of experience in security operations, physical security systems, field service, facilities support, low-voltage systems, or a related environment is preferred • Working knowledge of access control, cameras, field-device connectivity, and low-voltage cabling • Familiarity with Windows systems, networking fundamentals, and service-ticket or work-order systems • Strong documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and escalation skills • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred
