Data Center Technician - Cheyenne, WY

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair server and network faults, investigate failures, and install equipment.
• Maintain inventory, operating documentation, automation scripts, and test equipment.
• Support teammates through technical guidance and training.

Work arrangement

This salaried role is fully onsite in a 24/7 environment. Scheduled on-call coverage requires responding onsite within 60 minutes. Travel to other data centers may reach 10%.

Compensation and benefits

Base salary: $65,000 to $83,000 annually. Eligible employees receive bonus and equity opportunities, employer-paid medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement matching, paid leave, and tuition support.

• Practical computer hardware troubleshooting and Linux experience.
• Strong organization, communication, prioritization, and incident response skills.
• Ability to move 50-pound equipment, handle small components, work on ladders and in confined areas, and tolerate hot and cold aisles.
• Flexible availability for on-call coverage.
• Preferred: networking, Python or Bash, Cisco IOS or Juniper JunOS, and an IT associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Must satisfy applicable US export-control access rules.
