Data Center Technician, Day Shift

Operate and maintain server and network infrastructure in Google’s Las Vegas data center. The technician installs and configures hardware, troubleshoots straightforward equipment and infrastructure faults, repairs servers, performs preventive maintenance, and replaces end-of-life components. The role follows Google’s operational and data-security procedures, tracks media handling, and contributes to infrastructure deployments and small project teams.

• Component-level repair and troubleshooting experience with technical equipment • Experience diagnosing operating systems, server hardware, or networking protocols • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds • Ability to work required weekends, holidays, or non-standard hours when needed • Data center or network operations center experience is preferred • Two years of IT equipment troubleshooting or similar systems, deployment, or help-desk experience is preferred
