Data Center Technician I

Support Flexential customers and infrastructure through hands-on technical service at the Centennial data center.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware, replace components, and terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot cabling.
• Monitor infrastructure alarms and escalate incidents under established procedures.
• Handle customer requests, access control, remote hands work, inventory, and receiving.
• Maintain tickets, operating records, shift handoffs, and service commitments.

Work arrangement

Onsite with varied shifts supporting year-round, 24-hour operations. Limited travel may be needed.

Compensation and benefits

Published estimated pay: $21 per hour, subject to experience, location, and qualifications. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, retirement savings, paid leave, disability insurance, and wellness support.

• High school diploma or equivalent; zero to four years in IT or data center support.
• Windows knowledge, customer service skills, dependable transportation, and careful documentation.
• Ability to climb ladders, install cable, move pallet jacks, lift 50 pounds, and work around hot and cold equipment areas.
• Preferred: one year of support experience, NOC or data center exposure, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.
