Data Center Technician II

Support Flexential customers and technical operations at its Franklin data center.

Responsibilities

• Execute customer installations, hardware upgrades, remote hands requests, and provisioning projects.
• Analyze tickets, validate instructions, maintain reports, and guide developing technicians.
• Monitor infrastructure alarms, troubleshoot access issues, and escalate facility incidents.
• Maintain security procedures, cabling standards, and accurate operating records.

Work arrangement

Onsite with varied shifts supporting 24/7 operations. Limited travel may be required.

Compensation and benefits

Published estimated pay: $23 per hour, subject to experience, location, and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement savings, paid leave, disability coverage, and wellness support.

• High school diploma or equivalent and two to four years in IT or data center support.
• Experience in a continuous production environment, Windows, networking, and cable standards.
• Understanding of UPS, generators, HVAC, PDUs, and AC/DC power.
• Strong customer communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
• Ability to climb ladders, install cable, operate pallet jacks, lift 50 pounds, and work around temperature extremes.
• Network+ or Security+ is preferred; legal US work authorization is required.
