Data Center Technician

Support hardware, power, and network operations in Lightning AI’s on-site HPC data center in Allen. The technician monitors and troubleshoots compute and network systems, racks and cables new infrastructure, manages hardware failures and RMAs, and improves installation and documentation standards. The role works closely with hardware support, network engineering, SRE, remote-hands, and operations teams in a 24/7 environment.

• 2+ years of data center experience • Knowledge of power distribution, airflow, environmental monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM, and structured cabling • Strong Linux administration skills • Experience installing Ethernet and InfiniBand networking equipment • Availability for on-call rotation and after-hours support • HPC, Dell, or Nvidia infrastructure experience is preferred
