Job Description
Title: Data Center Operations Specialist III
Location: Sterling, VA
Duration: PERM/DIRECT HIRE
Pay: $50-53/hr,
Bonus opp: 5% annual target bonus
Relo assistance offered
Start date: ASAP
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Must Haves:
• HS Diploma
• 5+ years experience working in a data center
• Experience in operations, maintenance and/or building engineering
• Experience using SOPS/MOPS/EOP’s/MMRs
Plusses:
• Navy Nuclear experience
Day to day:
• Responsible for providing operational support for building systems in the facility.
• Responsible for overseeing employees work and ensure adherence to operational procedures. In addition to completing assigned tasks in the data center.
• Accurately log all activities and maintenance tasks into the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Monitor and maintain building systems, including power, cooling, and safety equipment.
• Track ongoing and completed maintenance work, ensuring proper documentation.
• Serve as the liaison for customer communications, including clients such as Oracle, Microsoft, Google, financial institutions, and other server space users.
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all documentation and communications.
