EHS Manager

T5 Data Centers is seeking an on-site Environment, Health, and Safety Manager in Lufkin to develop and consistently implement safety, security, and environmental-compliance programs for data center construction work.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect the site regularly and verify compliance with safety requirements.
• Organize and lead safety training for construction personnel.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determine causes, and develop preventive actions.
• Support EHS document control and program development.
• Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and construction activities for OSHA compliance.
• Maintain corporate and site EHS dashboards, track metrics, and distribute routine reports.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Five or more years of direct construction-safety experience is preferred; general-contractor experience is also preferred.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 training is a plus, and CHST or CSP certification is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant safety regulations and advanced knowledge of construction-safety standards.
• Leadership, diplomacy, organization, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, coaching, and training skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, navigate active sites, and meet the role’s emergency physical requirements, including lifting equipment up to 100 pounds.
