Job Description
Design, automate, test, and optimize the liquid-cooling hardware lifecycle for CoreWeave’s AI cloud infrastructure. The engineer develops hardware and firmware management services, defines system requirements, and integrates rack-level cooling with broader data center facility designs.
The work covers in-rack and remote coolant distribution units, liquid-to-air sidecars, pumps, valves, flow sensors, leak detection, thermal controls, alerting, server-vendor compatibility, performance tuning, and scalable deployment automation.
Requirements
• Four or more years of hands-on experience with in-rack CDUs, liquid-to-air heat exchangers, or end-of-row cooling units
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, firmware, component management, and data center thermal design
• Familiarity with coolant types, heat-transfer mechanisms, leak detection, and mitigation
• Python and Ansible experience plus programmatic hardware management through IPMI, SSH, or Redfish
• Experience integrating liquid-cooled server hardware with facility mechanical systems
• Strong automation, documentation, analytical, and cross-functional engineering skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
