Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer

Design electrical infrastructure for CoreWeave's expanding data center portfolio, from site assessment through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop power designs for new facilities and tenant fit-outs; assess utility capacity and load distribution.
• Review consultant drawings, specifications, and equipment submissions against company standards.
• Perform fault, coordination, arc-flash, and load-flow studies.
• Coordinate disciplines, support factory tests and commissioning, and resolve electrical design issues.

Location and travel

Available in Livingston, New York, Sunnyvale, San Francisco, or Bellevue. Visits to data center sites are required.

Compensation and benefits

Annual base salary: $157,000 to $210,000, plus eligible bonus, equity, health insurance, retirement matching, and paid leave.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least seven years in data center engineering.
• Successful data center design experience with substations, generators, UPS, lithium-ion batteries, and fire alarms.
• Knowledge of EPMS or SCADA, control sequences, high-density infrastructure, and applicable safety codes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
• PE licensure and Uptime Institute or BICSI credentials are preferred.
• US work authorization without current or future sponsorship; applicable export-control eligibility.
