Senior Fire Protection Engineer - Data Center

Olsson is hiring a senior fire protection engineer to lead suppression, alarm, and life-safety design for hyperscale and secure mission-critical data centers.

What you will do

• Lead fire-protection design and multidisciplinary coordination for complex data center projects.
• Apply NFPA, IBC, IFC, and UFC requirements to suppression, alarm, and life-safety systems.
• Prepare technical documents, calculations, specifications, and quality reviews.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams and travel approximately 15 to 25 percent.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer license is required; fire protection engineering specialization is preferred.
• Eight or more years of relevant fire-protection design experience.
• Experience with mission-critical or data center projects and applicable codes and standards.
